Fall outfit – Plaid & Denim in Central Park

Aujourd’hui, je vous amène avec moi à Central Park avec un look un peu bûcheron mais tellement parfait pour l’automne à New York. Souvenez-vous il y a quelques semaines, je vous avais partagé un article avec ma liste shopping spéciale plaid et carreaux ici. Depuis, j’ai fait un quelques achats dans cette liste et cette chemise en fait partie. Avec la fête de Thanksgiving demain et le long week-end pour l’occasion, je reste donc dans l’ambiance de l’automne sur le blog.

I am bringing you with me to Central Park today for a perfect Fall look to wear in New York City. I might look a little bit dressed up like a woodcutter, an ideal outfit to have some fun in the park and throw some leaves around. Remember when a few weeks back I shared with you my Fall shopping wishlist on the blog? I did a bit of shopping since then and this shirt is one of a couple I bought. With Thanksgiving around the corner and the perspective of a long weekend, I am staying in a very Fall mood on the blog.

A touch of Pink

Comment égayer un mois de Novembre et sa baisse de températures? En voyant la vie en rose bien sûr, ou plutôt avec une petite touch of pink. Même si l’automne à New York a été clément et magnifique, l’été semble déjà bien loin. La semaine prochaine, place à Thanksgiving, puis aux festivités de Noël. Mais où est donc passée 2016?

How to brighten November and handle the drop of temperatures? Simply by seeing life in pink, or adding a touch of pink into your look. Even though we can’t complain about this Fall in New York, Summer time seems so far away already. Next week is Thanksgiving then we will officially kick off the Holiday season festivities. Les couleurs d’automne à Central Park

Chaque année, il y a un spectacle dont on se ne lasse pas à New York, celui d’admirer les couleurs d’automne à Central Park. Depuis que j’ai adopté Harrison, je passe au minimum 2 heures chaque jour à Central Park (et parfois jusqu’à 5 heures). Même si j’ai tendance à aimer le changement, cette petite routine journalière me va tout à fait. Aller à Central Park avec mon chien de bon matin est devenu un rituel nécessaire pour bien commencer la journée. L’avantage est aussi que je peux profiter des changements de saison et de la transformation du décor.

Et c’est lors de ces promenades matinales que j’ai eu envie de vous photographier ce spectacle. Peu importe l’endroit où on se trouve, les couleurs d’automne sont toujours aussi magnifiques. Le fait de les admirer à Central Park a aussi tendance à nous plonger dans le décor type d’un film. Bonne humeur garantie!

If there is something I could never get tired of in New York, it is admiring at the beautiful Fall colors in Central Park. Since I welcomed Harrison into my life, I spend at least 2 hours each day walking in the park (sometimes up to 5 hours). I could not be happier with this daily routine. Going to Central Park with my puppy every morning has become a necessary ritual to start the day well. One of its many advantages is that I get to see all of the seasons in Central Park and the beautiful changes of scenery.

And it is indeed on our morning walks that I wanted to photograph this spectacle. No matter where you are in the park, the foliage is always magnificent. But when you admire the Fall foliage in a wonderful location such as Central Park, it feels like being on a movie set.

Manhattan Sunrise

Il y a des moments qu’on n’oubliera jamais. Ces moments forts qui resteront ancrés dans nos mémoires. La semaine dernière, j’ai vécu un de ces moments mémorables, inoubliables et intenses. Levées à l’aube, 5h00 samedi dernier, nous nous sommes dirigées vers le New Jersey pour regarder le lever du soleil sur Manhattan. Nous? Vous l’avez deviné, je veux bien entendu parler de Viviane du blog We Love New York et de moi-même. Un pur moment de bonheur, de sérénité et d’amitié.

There are moments we can never forget. No matter what. These big moments that will be forever in our mind. Last week, I lived one of these unforgettable and intense moments. We woke up at dawn, at 5AM on a Saturday, to head to New Jersey and watch the sun rise over Manhattan. “Who is we?”, you might ask. But you probably guessed it, I am talking about my friend Viviane from the blog We Love New York and myself. It was such a pure moment of joy, serenity and friendship.
