Les vitrines magiques et festives de Noël à New York

Encore une fois, j’ai pris plaisir à aller découvrir les vitrines festives de Noël à New York. J’adore cette période de l’année où la ville s’habille de ces plus jolies couleurs et décoration pour les fêtes. Pour la première fois, j’ai fait la tournée entre amis avec un chocolat chaud à la main, un sucre d’orge dans l’autre, et un sourire jusqu’aux oreilles. Passer Noël à New York est toujours un moment magique et inoubliable.

Once again, I could not resist the urge to discover the Holiday Windows this season in New York. I love this time of year when NYC dresses up with its sparkliest colors to celebrate. It was my first time touring the windows with a group of friends. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun! I walked with a hot chocolate in one hand, a candy cane in the other, and most importantly: a big smile on my face! Spending Christmas time in NYC is always so special to me and I always live unforgettable moments.

Couper son sapin de Noël dans une ferme à sapins aux USA

Vous me connaissez, je ne peux jamais refuser un road trip, même si c’est un mini voyage d’une journée à quelques heures de New York. Toutes les occasions sont bonnes pour sortir de la jungle new-yorkaise. D’autant plus quand il s’agit d’aller couper son sapin de Noël avec les copains et les chiens! Direction le New Jersey dans une ferme à sapins…

You know by now, I can never turn down the offer to go on a road trip. Even if it is only for a day and not too far from New York City. Every chance to get away from the NYC jungle I tend to say yes. Even more so when the goal is to cut your own Christmas tree with friends and puppies! This year, we headed to New Jersey in a Christmas tree farm…

Central Park et ses couleurs d’automne époustoufflantes

Il est temps dire au revoir à l’automne à New York. Encore une fois cette année, je ne peux m’empêcher de vous en partager quelques clichés. J’ai pris ces photos lors d’une de nos promenades matinales avec Harrison. La lumière était divine et donnait à Central Park ce doux côté poétique. La saison automnale a commencé tard cette année à New York et seulement cette semaine, les arbres se sont dénudés. Quelques premiers flocons sont également annoncés en fin de semaine…

It is time to wave the Autumn in New York goodbye. This year again, I cannot help myself and share with you a few photos. I took them during one of my morning walks with Harrison. The sunlight was divine and gave Central Park such a soft poetic look. The season started late this year and the NYC Fall foliage took its time to reveal itself. This week, Fall is coming to an end in NYC, the trees are losing their leaves. And we might even see a few snow flurries at the end the week…

Inspiration New York : “Here is New York”

Un article “Inspiration New York” pour vous présenter un livre que je relis en ce moment. “Here is New York” est un essai écrit par Edwyn B. White en 1948. Ce livre est un plaisir pour tout amoureux de New York. Parce que New York ne s’affectionne pas uniquement visuellement, mais aussi et avant-tout pour son énergie.

I would like to share with you a “New York Inspiration” post today and introduce you to a book I am reading again at the moment. “Here is New York” is an essay written in 1948 by the American novelist Elwyn B. White. Because New York is not only visually enjoyable, its energy is what strikes everybody the most. And words are powerful.
