Vous me connaissez, je ne peux jamais refuser un road trip, même si c’est un mini voyage d’une journée à quelques heures de New York. Toutes les occasions sont bonnes pour sortir de la jungle new-yorkaise. D’autant plus quand il s’agit d’aller couper son sapin de Noël avec les copains et les chiens! Direction le New Jersey dans une ferme à sapins…

Even more so when the goal is to cut your own Christmas tree with friends and puppies! This year, we headed to New Jersey in a Christmas tree farm…

Purple in the NYC Fall

L’automne à New York a été le plus doux que j’ai connu depuis mes 7 années de vie ici. Vous l’avez vu sur mes Stories Instagram notamment, nous avons profité de ces journées chaudes et ensoleillées. Le joli feuillage d’automne a tardé à pointer le bout de son nez. Je vous ai d’ailleurs partager mes photos d’automne à Central Park dans ce dernier article ici. Sur ces photos, c’est dans le West Village où je me trouve. J’adore déambuler parmi les maisons magnifiques typiquement new yorkaises avec leurs grands escaliers.

It’s been such a warm Fall in New York this year. Probably the warmest I have known since moving here 7 years ago. You noticed it on my InstaStories, we had a lot of warm sunny days in the city. The beautiful Fall Foliage came late. I actually shared with you how stunning Central Park was in this last blogpost here. In these photos, I left my dearest Upper West Side behind on a Fall morning to roam around the West Village. I love this neighborhood full of NYC brownstones with their big stairs.

Central Park et ses couleurs d’automne époustoufflantes

Il est temps dire au revoir à l’automne à New York. Encore une fois cette année, je ne peux m’empêcher de vous en partager quelques clichés. J’ai pris ces photos lors d’une de nos promenades matinales avec Harrison. La lumière était divine et donnait à Central Park ce doux côté poétique. La saison automnale a commencé tard cette année à New York et seulement cette semaine, les arbres se sont dénudés. Quelques premiers flocons sont également annoncés en fin de semaine…

It is time to wave the Autumn in New York goodbye. This year again, I cannot help myself and share with you a few photos. I took them during one of my morning walks with Harrison. The sunlight was divine and gave Central Park such a soft poetic look. The season started late this year and the NYC Fall foliage took its time to reveal itself. This week, Fall is coming to an end in NYC, the trees are losing their leaves. And we might even see a few snow flurries at the end the week…

Shooting Stars

Hello December! Suis-je la seule à être étonnée d’être déjà en décembre? Cette année a filé à une vitesse folle et il est venu le temps des looks de fête. J’ai shooté ce look il y a quelques semaines devant la sublime bibliothèque de New York sur la 5ième avenue et la 42ième rue. J’adore cet endroit. Dès que je suis dans les parages, je ne peux m’empêcher d’y rentrer et d’aller visiter la grande salle du dernier étage. Je m’y pose aussi souvent entre deux photoshoots le temps de travailler.

Hello December! Am I the only one so surprised that the last month of the year is already here? It’s been such a whirwind year for me, yet I can’t believe how fast it went by. Tis the season to the Holiday party looks! I shoot this outfit in front of the divine New York Public Library on Fifth avenue and 42nd street. I love this place so much. Every time I am close by, I cannot resist going in and paying a visit to the gorgeous reading room on the top floor. I also often take advantage of it and work from there in between photoshoot assignments.

A la découverte du Vermont et de ses jolies couleurs d’automne

Il y a quelques semaines, je me suis déconnectée du monde digital pour profiter d’un long weekend dans le Vermont. Deux copines, deux chiens et un Airbnb, c’était parti pour 4 jours de randonnées à moins de 4h de voiture de New York City.

A few weeks ago, I took a break from the digital world to enjoy a long Fall weekend in Vermont. Two girlfriends, two dogs and one AirBnb, we were ready for our little road trip up north. Resting, chatting, hiking, cooking and enjoying nature were all we did during this 4-day getaway from the craziness of NYC.
