Street Style from New York Fashion Week 2014 – What they are wearing

Cette semaine la Fashion Week 2014 de New York envahit Manhattan (et Brooklyn), et bien entendu les Fashionistas du monde entier nous font part de leurs meilleurs Streetstyles entre deux défilés. Le Polar Vortex n’a qu’à bien se tenir car rien n’effraie les plus courageux qui n’hésite pas à ruser de tactiques et de superposition de matières pour se tenir chaud tout en restant stylé. Voici la sélection de mes looks préférés repérés au Lincoln Center. D’autres looks suivront pour ma rubrique Mode sur le site de We Love New York. En attendant, qu’en pensez-vous? It’s that time of the year again in New York. Fashion Week 2014 is up and running all over Manhattan (and Brooklyn) and, with that comes the fabulous people playing dress up to run from one show to another. The Polar Vortex won’t discourage the bravest Fashionistas, who play stylishly and in a clever ways to stay warm. Here are my favorite trends and street styles spotted over the weekend at the Lincoln Center. Aren’t these people gorgeous? They showed up all smily and playful, and I just can’t get enough. Inspiration is definitely in the streets of New York City.

Lace & Leather outfit – OOTD – FashionBlog

Avant ce look, je pense n’avoir jamais porté de cuir de ma vie. Pour être honnête, le cuir m’a toujours fait un peu peur. Je ne suis pas vraiment une nana au style très Rock n’Roll, vous voyez. Je le qualifierais plutôt de casual-preppy-chic (oui chic! c’est mon blog, mon style, alors j’en dis ce que je veux. Ok, élégant est moins arrogant).

I don’t think I ever wore leather before that street style look. You see, leather always kind of scared me. My style is not really Rock’n Roll to tell you the truth. My style is more sort of preppy-casual-chic (chic, elegant, whatever you feel is less arrogant to define your own style. After all, this is my blog, my style, and I pick chic. ;)).

New York City, entre Neige et Polar Vortex

Le blog reprend vie avec quelques clichés enneigés à New York. Le Polar Vortex subit brutalement sur la ville et je ne savais pas ce qu’avoir froid signifiait vraiment avant son arrivée. Entre temps, la neige est tombée.

The blog is back to life, and I would like to share some pictures of the snow with you. New York City is still suffering from the infamous Polar Vortex, and I learned how being “freezing dead cold” really means. In between though, the snow managed to fall.
