Voici un look urbain et décontracté pour arpenter les rues de l’East Village à New York. Plutôt habituée aux formes près du corps pour le bas, j’ai eu envie d’innover mon look avec un pantalon fluide version ~~pyjama~~ Harem Pants. Encore fallait-il trouver LE pantalon…

Last weekend, I decided on an urban and easy-to-wear look to roam around the East Village, Downtown Manhattan. I usually wear fitted and structured pants but this time; I wanted to shake my traditional look with a silky fluid ~~pyjama~~ Harem Pants.

Visit Kingston, The Catskills – Perfect getaway from New York

Sortons un peu de New York pour découvrir ce qu’il se trouve plus au nord, dans les Catskills. La ville de Kingston se situe à environ 1h30 en voiture de Manhattan et représente la parfaite escapade pour un weekend au calme. Manhattan, Brooklyn, c’est bien beau tout ça, mais H-24 et à l’année, c’est éreintant alors toutes les occasions sont bonnes pour s’évader un peu, même le temps d’un weekend.

Let’s go out of New York City for a bit to explore The Catskills. Located only an hour and a half by car, Kingston is the perfect spot for a getaway weekend. Manhattan, Brooklyn, it’s all-good, but after a long week of work, it’s always beneficial to get out of the city and breathe.

La Mule, Spring It-shoe in New York

Les beaux jours sont de retour à New York, la pédicure recommence à se montrer indispensable, et les chaussures ouvertes refont leur apparition dans les rues de la Grosse Pomme. Ce printemps, j’ai envie de faire ma tête de mule, ou plutôt mon pied… (ce mauvais jeu de mots prend fin tout de suite!). La Mule, c’est la tendance du printemps et une manière ingénue de faire la transition douce des bottines avant de ré-adopter les tongs.

Sunny, warm days are back in New York, pedicures are becoming a must again, and open-toe shoes start to re-invade the city. This Spring, I have a big crush on Mules. Even though Mules were originally closed-toe, I like the edit with the open-toe version. It is a genius transition between low boots and flip flops.

Touring mansions in Newport, Rhode Island // La visite des Châteaux

Pendant le weekend de Pâques, je me suis éloignée de Manhattan en direction de Newport, Rhode Island. (Vous devez déjà le savoir grâce à mon post spécial “Tenue de Touriste“.) Un peu plus au nord, toujours sur la côté Est des Etats-Unis et à un peu moins de 3h30 de voiture (sauf méchants embouteillages), Newport est une vraie destination de rêve. Savez-vous qu’on emprunte deux ponts pour y accéder? J’ai donc quitté une île pour une autre, et ça en valait vraiment la peine! Je suis totalement sous le charme de Newport alors préparez-vous, il y aura deux articles à ce sujet. Celui-ci centré sur les jolies demeures, et un autre article un peu plus tard sur le centre-ville / front de mer.

I escaped to Newport, Rhode Island for the Easter break, but you might already know that if you read my outfit post. Up North from New York City and at 3 hours and a half by car (depending on traffic), Newport is a perfect escape for the weekend and I fell in love instantly (and yet, again; I’m just a traveller at heart). This post is centered on the beautiful mansions, but there will be another one focused on the town and beach front.
