Obsession pull et rose pastel

Avec un hiver plutôt doux à New York cette année, j’ai pu ressortir les escarpins et même laisser le manteau au placard le temps d’une promenade dominicale. Vous l’avez compris depuis le temps : j’aime les vêtements comfortables à porter. Et j’ai aussi la folie des gros pulls d’hiver tout doux. Je vous ai présenté ce pull déjà dans une vidéo (ici). Comme vous le voyez, je me fais toujours un plaisir à le porter et bonne nouvelle : il est en solde!

With a pretty warm Winter in New York this year, I get to wear my pumps and even take my coat off some days. You probably have noticed how I am always going for easy comfortable outfits. New York Fashion Week – Les VLOGS

La Fashion Week à New York, c’était mi-février. Une semaine intense qui demande beaucoup de préparation et encore plus de travail une fois les défilés et présentations terminés. Cette année pour lancer mon aventure de Youtubeuse, je vous ai filmé (“vloggué”) mon expérience pendant cette semaine de la mode. Je vous ai amené avec moi dans plusieurs quartiers de Manhattan pour assister et / ou photographier les nouvelles collections des créateurs pour la saison automne/hiver 2017.

New York Fashion Week happened a few weeks ago. It was an intense week with a big amount of work to plan and prepare before kick-off, as well as editing all the photos after the shows. I thought this year would be a good opportunity to also VLOG my experience during Fashion Week and share it on Youtube. These videos are in French but I think you can still enjoy them even if you don’t speak the language. I brought you with me across Manhattan to attend and photograph the collections. You can also see what the trends will be for Fall/Winter 2017.

Milkshake & Premier VLOG New-Yorkais

Je vous l’ai montré en vidéo cette semaine et il était impossible de ne pas vous en parler sur le blog. J’ai enfin testé Black Tap ! Des milkshakes plus gros que les yeux (et le ventre), une ambiance cool à SoHo, un personnel très sympathique, de la bonne musique et des burgers plus que parfaits.

Big and beautiful milkshakes, delicious burgers, a trendy environment in SoHo, a very welcoming staff and great music to top it all. How can you not like it?

My Pink Coat Obsession

L’hiver, il est facile de porter exclusivement les couleurs sombres. Il suffit de regarder autour de soi pour apercevoir l’invasion des manteaux noirs en tout genre. Moi aussi, je suis coupable. Mais j’aime de temps à autre casser la routine et opter pour un look “feel good”. Pour cela, rien de mieux qu’un mélange de couleurs neutres et pastels. J’ai trouvé ce manteau rose chez Asos, et j’ai tout de suite craqué. Il est tout doux, facile à attacher et me met tout de suite de bonne humeur.

It is so easy to fall in the spiral in the Winter and only wear darker colors. Just have a look around and count all of the black coats. I am guilty as well. But I also like to break the routine and wear a brighter “feel good” outfit. To do so, nothing beats the mix of pink and pastel colors. I found this wonderful pink coat at Asos a few weeks ago and I could not resist! I love its softness and the way it wraps around my waist. Every time I put it on, I have to smile.

Valentine’s Day Gift ideas for Her and for Him

Que vous fêtez la Saint Valentin avec votre moitié ou simplement parce que c’est l’hiver, je vous propose aujourd’hui quelques idées cadeaux pour Mesdames, Mesdemoiselles et Messieurs. Un hiver parfois trop long mérite un peu de douceur et il n’y a aucune règle pour s’offrir de cadeaux. Même si vous vous les offrez à vous-même! Voici donc une petite liste de quelques objets convoités ce mois-ci. La Saint Valentin est fortement célébrée aux US et j’aime aussi bien la fêter entre copines pour l’heure du thé dans l’après-midi qu’avec monsieur en soirée. Une célébration simple avec un dîner maison pour éviter la foule dans les restaurants.
