La Fashion Week à New York, c’était mi-février.  Une semaine intense qui demande beaucoup de préparation et encore plus de travail une fois les défilés et présentations terminés.  Cette année pour lancer mon aventure de Youtubeuse, je vous ai filmé (“vloggué”) mon expérience pendant cette semaine de la mode.  Je vous ai amené avec moi dans plusieurs quartiers de Manhattan pour assister et / ou photographier les nouvelles collections des créateurs pour la saison automne/hiver 2017.

New York Fashion Week happened a few weeks ago.  It was an intense week with a big amount of work to plan and prepare before kick-off, as well as editing all the photos after the shows.  I thought this year would be a good opportunity to also VLOG my experience during Fashion Week and share it on Youtube.  These videos are in French but I think you can still enjoy them even if you don’t speak the language.  I brought you with me across Manhattan to attend and photograph the collections.  You can also see what the trends will be for Fall/Winter 2017.

Dans le premier VLOG, je vous montre New York sous la neige pré-Fashion Week.  Je vous provoque aussi à coup de coupes de champagne et milkshake gigantesque.  Et je vous laisse assister à ma première fête, puis présentation de la saison.

In the first VLOG, I showed you a little bit of New York under the snow pre-fashion week.  I teased you with champagne and a bigger than life milkshake.  I also brought you to my first Fashion Week party and presentation of the season.

Dans le second VLOG, le rythme de travail s’accélère et j’enchaîne les défilés et présentations dans le Lower Manhattan, Midtown, West Village, West SoHo et SoHo.  Pas vraiment le temps de se poser, si ce n’est que pour retrouver des forces avec un Matcha Latte.

In the second VLOG, work is taking off and I am becoming very busy going from presentations to runway shows across Lower Manhattan, the West Village, Midtown, West SoHo and SoHo.  I don’t really have time to stop, except of course to reward myself with a Matcha Latte.

J’espère que vous avez apprécié ces vidéos où je vous emmène au coeur de la Fashion Week new-yorkaise mais aussi où je partage un peu mon métier et l’envers du décor.  Je vous l’ai cité à plusieurs reprises mais même si cette semaine est super glamour, elle est aussi éreintante et stressante.  Mais au final, c’est que du bonheur!  La semaine de la mode est en ce moment à Paris et le Fashion Month, comme on l’appelle, touche à sa fin.  Rendez-vous en septembre pour la découverte des collections printemps/été 2018!

I hope you enjoyed this videos.  Even though there are in French, you can still see the inside of New York Fashion Week and get some insights on my job and some behind-the-scenes.  As I mentioned in these VLOGS, Fashion Week is super glamour but it is also very tiring and stressful.  In the end though, I am loving it so much!  Fashion Week is now happening in Paris and Fashion Month is coming to an end.  Stay tuned to discover the Spring / Summer 2018 collections next September.
