Parfait pour démarrer le weekend, je vous révèle un de mes endroits préférés pour un brunch à New York : le Caffé Storico. Plus précisément dans l’Upper West Side, ce qui est très pratique puisqu’il se trouve à quelques pas de chez moi. Il est également situé dans le musée le plus ancien de New York, ce qui rend ce lieu encore plus particulier. Et la nourriture, vous vous demandez? Après avoir fréquenté le Caffé Storico à plusieurs reprises et partagé ses propositions diverses, je n’ai jamais été déçue. La carte reste traditionnelle et variée, les desserts sont succulents. Les cocktails sont délicieux aussi (un brunch sans Bloody Mary, Mimosa ou Bellini ne serait pas complet). Quant aux prix, ils sont très abordables étant donné le cadre chic et singulier du lieu.

A perfect way to start the weekend is to share with you one of my favorite places for a brunch in New York: the Caffé Storico. It is located on the Upper West Side, which is very practical for me as I live in this beautiful neighborhood (yes, I am totally bragging because I am so in love with it). It is also part of the oldest museum of New York City: the New York Historical Society museum.
Le Caffé Storico est un restaurant que je vous recommande les yeux fermés et la bouche grande ouverte lors de votre passage à Manhattan ou en visite de l’Upper West Side. Sa location, accolée à Central Park, est idéale après ou avant la visite du parc. Et puis il y a évidemment le musée New York Historical Society que vous pouvez visiter. Bon appétit et bon weekend!

I have tried multiple items on the menu and it is always as good as the previous visit. It is a pretty traditional American and Italian cuisine for brunch. I have yet to try their dinner menu. The desserts taste like heaven and their cocktails are exquisite as well (as a brunch without a Bloody Mary, Mimosa or Bellini would not be complete, right?). The pricing is pretty affordable, especially when taking into account how chic and elegant the decor looks. If you enjoy brunch in a special place, you are in for a treat.
I totally recommend Caffé Storico if you are in the neighborhood or visiting New York. The location, close to Central Park, is ideal for a walk pre or post-brunch. For sure, you should take the opportunity to visit the magnificent New York Historical Society museum. Bon appétit and have a nice weekend.
