NY Fashion Week – Streetstyle #5 / Prints

September 13, 2012

I can surely declare that this season, printed patterns took over the dominant solid black typically present at Fashion Week. There were prints on so many people running to shows that it was a festival of forms and colors at the Lincoln Center this September. Whether it was animal prints or geometrical prints, two color prints or more color prints, you could see printed designs everywhere: on dresses, pants, shorts, skirts, hats… Fashionistas mixed them with a plain piece of clothing or just wore the same pattern from top to bottom for a total look. Bold people even mixed different prints and wore them together. Oh man, you gotta love those prints!

NY Fashion Week – Street Style #4 / White pieces

September 12, 2012

Have you ever asked yourself the question: what will happen to me if I wear white after Labor Day? Probably yes, because this ¨no white after Labor Day¨ rule is known by everyone and keeps prospering every year. September 12, 2012
