March in New York is that big hope that Spring will definitely show up. Then, it’s the month of a huge deception as well, as snow keeps falling on the streets of Manhattan. Sorry guys, the warm weather is not going to happen just yet but while we keep on waiting, you can still embrace the magic of New York City under your layers of cashmere and winter coats.

March began at a high speed for me with a quick trip to Boston for work, followed by long and, not so pleasant, hours at the office that somehow made me feel like I was in detention. Changing the clocks ahead for daylight savings time messed up schedules for every New Yorker in town, but what a joy to still see the light of day after work. This, and the slightly warmer temperatures, allowed me to take my first run of the year in Central Park. I even dared leaving my coat at home to shoot an outfit that you apparently really loved. Fashion makes me way cooler than who I am in reality. You see, my favorite things to do in Winter are just to stay in, cook and lie on my couch drinking tea.

So am I disappointed that Spring did not happen yet? Not really. I did not believe it would come so soon anyway, which is why I anticipated by booking a 10 day getaway to the wonderful and sunny island of Puerto Rico (where I am right now). Alright guys, keep believing. Spring will come in April, for sure!

xx Jennie
